Worship Ministries

In worship, we offer our praise and thanks to God for God’s unfailing love for all creation. There are many ways you can be involved in supporting our worship services on Sunday mornings and at other times.

Acolyte

Light the candles in worship and assist with the offering and communion distribution

Assisting Minister

Help lead portions of the worship service and read scripture.

Communion Minister

Help distribute Communion during worship

Altar Guild

Help set up the sanctuary for worship by preparing the altar, changing banners, refilling candles, and decorating as needed

Children's Message

Prepare a brief story or message for children and present it during worship.

Communion Prep Team

Bake bread for use in Holy Communion or help with communion set up before worship

Music Ministry

The choir sings most Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and at our single 10:00 a.m. service on the last Sunday of each month. The late service features contemporary music each week led by the Breakout Band. We also welcome individuals to share vocal or instrumental gifts. Check out recent choir videos.

Contemplative Psalm & Prayer

This regular midweek worship and prayer opportunity meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:15–6:45 pm. The gathering includes a contemplative reading and discussion of the lectionary psalm, followed by about 15 minutes of silent prayer shared together.

Greeter

Distribute bulletins and welcome people to worship as they enter the sanctuary

Usher

Collect the offering during worship and assist those present as needed

Projection / Sound

Prepare and/or operate projection, run the soundboard, and manage the livestream during worship. Training will be provided for all aspects of these roles.

Worship Ministry Team

Meet periodically to plan ongoing services, enhance the worship space with visuals, prepare banners, and assist with special worship related events throughtout the year.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes for children (age 3+), youth, and adults are offered from September through May and meet each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. We are blessed with an experienced and dedicated team of Christian educator volunteers from the congregation. The adult Sunday School class meets in Trinity Hall and covers a wide range of topics, including scripture, church history, world religions, and special studies.

At Trinity, we value having children and youth fully present in worship. They are invited to serve alongside adults in worship leadership roles such as acolytes, projection and sound, assistants, and communion ministers.
