Children & Youth

Trinity Lutheran Church offers a vibrant, intergenerational ministry that nurtures faith through Christian Education, youth programs, and community engagement. We welcome all ages to grow in faith, serve others, and build meaningful relationships. Described below are some of the opportunities available:

Sunday School

Sunday School for ages 3+ is offered on most Sundays from September through May at 9:45 a.m., including our Godly Play class (pictured above). Additional faith‑forming opportunities at Trinity include Bible studies, youth fellowship, confirmation classes, and our week‑long summer Vacation Bible School (VBS).

Trips

Youth and adults participate in mission trips, service projects, fellowship events, summer camp at Lutheridge and HopeWood, and occasionally attend the ELCA National Youth Gathering.

Seasonal Fellowship Events

Trinity hosts a variety of seasonal fellowship events throughout the year, including Trunk or Treat in the fall, our Advent Event to welcome the Christmas season, Pancake Sunday on the Sunday before Lent, and an Easter Egg Hunt in the spring. Many of these gatherings are open to the community and bring all ages together to celebrate meaningful times of the year.

Youth

Trinity has an active and growing youth program (8th–12th grade) that includes yearly retreats, summer camp, local service projects, monthly fellowship, and more. Our youth also enjoy a dedicated space designed for them to gather, relax, and connect. Throughout the year, youth take on leadership roles in Sunday worship, offering their gifts in music, reading, and service.
